Employment History
The Real Résumé
This isn't the polished LinkedIn version. This is the one that starts in the kitchen at McDonald's when I was 14 years old. During my interview, the manager said, "We usually don't hire people this young," but they took a chance and I became the youngest employee in McDonald's history in Australia at the time.
Every job since has taught me something real: how to work under pressure, how to connect with people, and how to find pride in any role.

McDonald's
When I left Spain in 2012, the unemployment rate was above 20%. I arrived in a completely different environment when I got to South Australia. I found out very soon that in Australia you could legally get a job if you were 14 years old. I applied everywhere. Not many places were hiring but the hiring manager at McDonald's gave me an interview since I had submitted a physical application twice.
"You must really want to work here," she said, as I became the youngest crew member in all of Australia.
I loved my first job. Since we got paid double, I worked every Sunday and holiday. There was an internal competition for who was the fastest in making the orders. I tried to be the fastest person in the kitchen and by the time I left Australia a year later I was opening the kitchen on Saturday mornings and running the kitchen on Sunday evenings.
Vitesse Arnhem
Inside a top-flight Dutch football club: strategy, mascots, and a daily 1-hour car ride with the CEO.
Playing football had always been one of my passions. In 2018 my dream became a reality: I signed for a professional football team. I wasn't playing for the first team. Instead I started an internship to help the club enter an exciting new market: China.

Vitesse plays at the top of Dutch football and is famous for its 5-star youth academy. Under the guidance of the CEO, I developed a strategy for Vitesse to generate market opportunities in the Chinese football industry. My ideas were implemented and saw Chinese children visit the Netherlands for a one-week training program while generating new revenue streams for the club.

During my time at Vitesse I worked with every department. I shared an office with the club lawyer, worked with finance, marketing, the e-sports team, and Vitesse Betrokken, the club's social foundation. One day I even became Vito, the mascot.

Most importantly, I shared a 1-hour car ride every day with the CEO, who taught me what it takes to run a successful club: sporting success and profitability, side by side.
